This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting a Corporate Solicitor to join its growing team in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base ranging from start-ups and SMEs to large national businesses, while playing a key role in the continued development of the firm's corporate offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and corporate finance transactions
- Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, joint venture arrangements and other corporate documentation
- Providing advice on corporate governance, employee ownership structures and shareholder issues
- Supporting business development initiatives and working closely with colleagues on multi-disciplinary transactions and projects
Applicants should have at least 2 years' PQE with experience in corporate law and transactional work. Candidates should be commercially minded, confident managing a varied workload, and capable of building strong client relationships. A proactive approach to business development and a genuine interest in helping to grow the corporate practice are essential.
