This well-established West Lothian law firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its busy Conveyancing and Private Client team. With a strong reputation for delivering trusted legal advice to individuals, families, and businesses across the region, the firm offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or junior lawyer to develop their career within a supportive and client-focused environment. The role provides exposure to a broad range of residential property and private client matters, offering excellent scope for progression and long-term development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including property sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of title.
- Advising clients on a range of private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, executries, and estate administration.
- Drafting legal documentation and correspondence to a high standard.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, financial advisers, and other professional contacts to ensure matters progress efficiently.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the firm's property and private client practice.
Applicants should be Scottish qualified solicitors at NQ level or above with an interest in both residential conveyancing and private client work. Previous experience in either area during traineeship or post-qualification practice would be essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrate a proactive approach to client service, and be keen to develop their expertise across both disciplines.
