This highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing Employment team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer to join a nationally recognised practice, working alongside leading employment specialists on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters for an impressive client base spanning the retail, financial services, public sector, telecoms and energy industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including disciplinary matters, grievances, restructurings and redundancies.
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims and supporting clients through all stages of litigation.
- Providing employment law input on TUPE transfers, corporate transactions and outsourcing projects.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, handbooks, policies, settlement agreements and other employment documentation.
- Delivering practical advice and training to clients on employment law developments and workplace best practices.
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider Employment team on complex and high-profile matters.
Applicants should be qualified solicitors with experience gained within an employment law practice. Candidates should possess strong technical employment law knowledge, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively. Experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters would be advantageous.
